Haigler
Canyon Campground is dispersed and you must be
self contained. Located next to the Hellsgate Wilderness,
Haigler Canyon is noted for its rainbow trout fishing and
its proximity to trails for horseback riding. Haigler Creek
flows through the campground and is stocked with rainbow
trout from April through late August. There are nice swimming
holes available in and around the campground to cool off
during the summer months. There is one vault toilet equipped
with grab bars. After heavy
rain, a four wheel drive vehicle isn't a must but is nice.
The
Rim Visitors Information Center is located at the junction
of the S. R. 260 and Rim Road.
